Overview

FitLife is a fitness app designed to make working out easier to start and easier to stick with. The goal was to create one place where people could find workouts, follow exercises and keep track of their progress without making fitness feel more complicated than it already can. I worked on the experience from the early thinking and user flows through to the final interface.

THE PROBLEM

Staying consistent with fitness is already difficult, and the app someone uses shouldn't make it harder. People can easily get overwhelmed by too many workout options, unclear routines or having no simple way to see whether all that effort is actually paying off.

RESEARCH

I looked at how people use fitness apps, what they need before and during a workout, and what helps them stay motivated afterwards. What stood out was that people wanted guidance without feeling boxed in — they needed to quickly find something that suited them, understand what to do next and be able to see the progress they were making over time.

PROCESS

I started by breaking the experience into the moments that mattered most: finding a workout, choosing exercises, getting through the session and checking progress afterwards. As the design evolved, I simplified the flows and made sure things like workout details, timers, goals and progress were easy to understand without interrupting the actual workout.

THE SOLUTION

The final design gives users a straightforward way to discover workouts, follow exercises step by step and track how they're doing over time. Workout guidance, timers, goals and progress all live within the same experience, so users can spend less time figuring out the app and more time actually working out.

OUTCOME

FitLife became an experience that feels focused without feeling restrictive, giving users enough structure to stay on track while still letting them move at their own pace. The project reminded me that a good fitness product isn't about throwing more numbers at people — it's about making progress feel clear enough that they want to keep going.
